ThreeLac Instructions

Despite the label instructions, we recommend that everyone start with
only one packet of ThreeLac a day. It will give your body a chance to
get rid of a lot of dead yeast in the first 4-6 weeks. The most
important piece of advice we can give you is to take a good fiber
product daily and drink lots of water to keep things moving. Even if
you think you’re having good bowel movements, it is very important to
scrape the intestines out on a daily basis. You will feel much better,
I promise you.

After an average of about 6 weeks, you will work up to two packets a
day and if you experience die-off symptoms, please know that they do
not last for long at all. If they last for too long or are too
uncomfortable, you are taking too much ThreeLac and will want to
reduce your dosage back down for another couple of weeks before going
back up. You will know when to increase your dosage as you reach a
plateau. At this point you will not feel yourself going one way or the
other, good or bad. In other words, some of your symptoms have
disappeared but you are stalled in the area of continuing improvement.
This is precisely when you should increase your dosage; not sooner and
not later. If you wait too long, your symptoms may begin to worsen. If
you increase your dosage too soon, you may experience some
uncomfortable die-off symptoms such as headache or muscle weakness.
Just listen to your body. After about another 4-6 weeks, you will work
up to three packets a day; spread them evenly throughout the day.
Alyson only had to go up to three packets to get her candida under
control. I had to go all the way up to five packets over a period of
about 5 months before slowly going back down in my dosage (I stayed on
5 packets only for about 5 – 6 weeks). It all depends on how deeply
entrenched your candida overgrowth is and other factors which vary
from person to person, such as genetic makeup. You will know for
yourself when you have reached your optimum dose. Stay on it for at
least 6-8 weeks before slowly working your dosage back down, one
packet at a time. Do not jump around with the dosage either (5 packets
one day, 2 packets the next day, etc), go up and back down one packet
at a time. The company recommends that it be taken with food, but we
did not notice any difference in efficacy taking it on an empty stomach.

Global Health Trax instructs on the label to discontinue use for 1
week after each three months of use. Flora Five is suggested for use
during the one week off. Please do not stop taking ThreeLac at any
time during the recovery process, or it will allow the candida to
quickly re-grow, erasing much, if not all, of the progress you have
made. Flora Five is another of GHT’s probiotic supplements that does
nothing to rid the body of an overgrowth of yeast. You are welcome to
take additional probiotics if you simply want to, but if you
experience die-off symptoms, please stop taking anything other than
ThreeLac and allow it work on its own. GHT also recommends not taking
ThreeLac while you are taking prescription antibiotics, which we also
disagree with. Simply take ThreeLac as far away from the drug as
possible until the round is finished. While the antibiotic will kill
off some of the beneficial bacteria in ThreeLac, having some in your
body is better than stopping ThreeLac altogether. Some people take
additional ThreeLac if they must be on antibiotics, which is fine.
Also, per Dr. Oz on the Oprah Show, antibacterial soap should only be
used for washing your hands. Like antibiotics in the body, these
soaps kill both the good and bad bacteria on the skin, which can cause
an imbalance, and some skin eruptions to occur as a result.

If you ordered Oxygen Elements Max, we do not recommend that you go
over the 21 drops per day dosage. If you take too much and suffer with
body pains, please cut way back. If you are particularly acidic,
please start with only 3 drops and work yourself up one drop at a time
until you reach a tolerable dose. If you notice a skin rash developing
or if you get a hoarse throat, stop the drops for about a week before
you begin taking them again. Also, if you notice water retention or
swelling, especially in the feet, ankles and legs, stop taking OE-Max.
About 1% of our customers report this reaction. OE-Max can be put in
water, or any other liquid. It has a mild citrus taste. Take OE-Max at
least two hours before or after ThreeLac, as it contains antimicrobial
properties that might kill off some of the live bacteria in ThreeLac.

Children age two and up (approximately), can start on one packet of
ThreeLac. Ages six months to two years start on ½ packet, and for
infants the dose is ¼ teaspoon (there are approximately ¾ tsp. in each
packet). Wrap the open packet back up securely, a paper clip should
do the trick. The dosage for Oxygen Elements Plus is 3 drops to start
for all ages. ThreeLac can be added to water or any liquid that is not
hot, and is practically tasteless even in water.

About 10% of people get better very quickly, within weeks. Another 10%
take 6-9 months to get their candida completely under control, but the
vast majority we have found achieve this in about 3-5 months. Every
person is different, so please be patient with the process. When you
feel you are ready to graduate back down in your dosage, go just as
slowly (one packet at a time) as you did in the first place. If your
symptoms start coming back, you’re going down too soon. Again, this is
a slow and steady process. Do not refrigerate ThreeLac and do not
store it near the stove or in direct sunlight. It should be kept at
room temperature. Refrigerating it will cause it to go dormant,
temperatures above 130F will kill the live bacteria.

Most people suffering with a candida fungal infection have a
deficiency of both Magnesium and B-12. Magnesium has also been helpful
for some who suffer with migraines. I took two 400mg capsules of
Magnesium Asporotate 3 times a day. I also gave myself B-12 shots
(ordered from
http://www.canadapharmacy.com/ to avoid the cost of a doctor’s visit,
and got the syringes at the pharmacy), administered in the hip at a
dose of 3cc every other day for two weeks, then twice a week for two
more weeks and then as needed. B-12 in the capsule form are simply not
nearly as effective. I ordered the 30ml bottle containing 1000ug/ml.
If you don’t want to do the shots, the second best alternative is
Sublingual B-12, available at your health food store. Start with 3,000
- 4,000mcg per day for 6 - 8 weeks, then back down to 2,000 - 3,000mcg
per day for as long as needed. People with depression should start
with 5,000 mcg. Another good product is FibroCare which contains the
Magnesium as well as Malic Acid. You can order it from the company, To
Your Health: http://www.e-tyh.com/www.e-tyh.com
(1-800-801-1406). Many people who suffer with loss of
libido need extra zinc which helps greatly. Keep in mind that as your
body normalizes, you will need to lower if not eliminate these extra
supplements, as your body will be able to metabolize them normally.
People who are on prescription medications for health conditions such
as high blood pressure, high/low blood sugar, depression, or anything
else for that matter should have their medications monitored and
adjusted as they begin to stabilize. Also, colloidal silver kills the
live bacteria in ThreeLac. If you are taking colloidal silver, or any
other antibacterial such as oil of oregano, olive leaf extract,
burdock root, grapefruit seed extract, caprylic acid, uncooked coconut
oil or mega-garlic supplements stop taking it while you are on
ThreeLac. They do nothing to control the yeast and colloidal silver
can also turn your teeth permanently black, or your skin permanently
blue. If you suffer with bloating and gas, take digestive enzymes. GHT
has a good one called Active Enzymes , but your local health food
store will have something comparable. If you have skin or nail fungus,
or notice red spots appearing on the skin, a very good product we have
found is Cumarindine, which is available in 3.5 ounce containers from
Marshall Lightfoot in Dallas, Tx. His contact information is
214-348-3685 or foot-11@msn.com.

If you are already on a restrictive diet, you may remain on it for
another 6 weeks or so. However, when you do start feeling much
improved, please start reintroducing restricted foods such as potatoes
and rice and whole fruit and even bread (whole grain) back into your
diet. If you are not on a restrictive diet, do not go on one, but do
avoid refined and natural sugars completely (including honey, syrups
and molasses and don’t overdo it on carbohydrates (candida craves
both). Xylitol and Stevia are good sugar substitutes, and Splenda can
be used in moderation. Most health food stores carry Xylitol and
Stevia. Other than those instructions, just try to eat a healthy,
balanced diet, free of obvious sweets (including high fructose fruits
such as pineapple, citrus, bananas, etc.) Apples, all berries, pears
and less sweet fruits are fine in moderation. After a few months you
will be able to eat anything you like. Incidental sugar found in many
products, such as crackers, canned vegetables and soups, breads, etc.,
are not enough to hurt you, just stay away from obvious sweets.

The primary objective of our website is to help candida sufferers rid
themselves of this disease. Should you wish to reorder or refer
others, please direct them to our website:
http://www.candidafree.net/. Please save it for future reference as
Google charges us 50 cents every time someone searches for us through
them, which costs hundred of dollars a day. If you should reorder by
phone or fax, please let them know you found ThreeLac through Mark Cobb.
We welcome you to contact us with any questions or comments you may

Cleansing and Die-Off Reactions:

The majority of a Candida yeast overgrowth is within the digestive
system, especially within the transverse colon and around the ileo
cecal valve connecting the small intestine to the large intestine.
When you destroy a yeast cell, the toxic internal yeast fluids are
released into the digestive chamber and immediately absorbed into the
blood stream.

As the ThreeLac begins to work, thousands upon thousands of yeast
cells will begin dying every day. This may create the “Herxheimer
Die-off Reaction” — the situation where yeast poisons are created
faster than the immune system or eliminative channels can remove them
from the blood.

If this happens, you may feel temporary mild discomforts such as
headache, fatigue, muscle aches, joint or chest pain, inflammation of
the throat, sinuses, lungs, mucus congestion, colon discomforts, skin
rashes, constipation, gas, dizziness, or depression, etc. These
symptoms are short-lived in the majority of cases and will go away
soon enough as you continue on with the program.

There may be times when a reduction in quantity of product may be in
order to slow the die-off reaction and decrease the rate of toxins
created. Die-off does indicate that the program is working and is a
necessary byproduct of the healing process, but too much can be
uncomfortable. It is simply imperative that you get on a good fiber or
supplement to clean out the intestines on a daily basis to get rid of
the yeast toxins. This alone can prevent and/or eliminate any die-off
experience.

Please do not shy away from the program or be discouraged if die-off
symptoms occur. They will disappear as soon as sufficient digestive
Candida has been removed. It may take several weeks or several months
depending on individual severity, but it will eventually end if you
remain steadfast on the ThreeLac program.

This was sent to me through my ThreeLac distributor Marc Cobb. I thought it was extremly informative and wanted to pass it on.

I think that carb cravings were always a part of my life. It was either desserts, breads, alcohol, or pasta. When I was young I don’t recall having many physical problems except maybe lack of stamina for athletic activities and some insomnia. I was experiencing depression also but didn’t know it at the time. It was when my thirtieth birthday rolled around that I noticed something was different. I had been drinking at my birthday celebrations all week and never seemed to bounce back from the hangovers. I knew that alcohol was the culprit and ceased drinking. That helped some but the lack of energy, insomnia and depression seemed to persist. A friend suggested that yeast was causing some of the symptoms. I investigated and saw a doctor that she had suggested. This was back in the early eighties and not many doctors had even heard that yeast overgrowth could be a causative factor in disease and poor health (many doctors still won’t concur with this diagnosis). He prescribed an antifungal drug called Nystatin (Mycostatin). I avoided bread, sugar and alcohol, black tea, and took the medicine. It seemed to help some.

I went on with this for a few years until the loss of a relationship. It was the stress of the loss that caused my immune system to collapse. The food allergies that had been manageable magnified so that it seemed as if I was allergic even to some waters. Usually if there is a candida overgrowth there are allergies present as well. I had to analyze every food to see if it was fermented, contained mushrooms, or was cultured. I sought help with acupuncture which made a big difference (after several treatments) and also went on a “rotation” diet where I only ate one thing each meal. This helped also to sort of stabilize my immune system.

Everything was going well until another stressful situation arose, I moved across the country for a new job. It was difficult to find a doctor who would prescribe the Nystatin. None of them believed that my problems were real and most suggested counseling. I had to find something else and tried homeopathics. The treatments helped some. Unfortunately I have a deep love for coffee and it stops the action of the homeopathics. At the time I had developed a love/hobby of swing dancing and the exercise pumped a lot of O2 into my system. It was probably the best my health had ever been, but I was dancing four to five days a week. Around this time I had discovered that the Monistat cream helped, (I wasn’t able to get the Nystatin) if I took it every day.

The Monistat worked for a few years but then sort of lost its effectiveness. I found an online pharmacy out of Mexico where I was getting Mycostatin. That helped for a few years also but then stopped. I was trying everything that was purportedly effective for yeast overgrowth. I had been to vitamin doctors, nothing. I also tried all sorts of herbal remedies which, if they did, only worked for a couple of weeks.

Somehow in all of my searching on line I discovered a website where they recommended a product called Three Lac which was a life saver. I have been taking this for four years now with no problems and great effectiveness. The company has also developed a product that is more complete and just as effective called Five Lac. I have also included some supplements in my diet to aid in hydration and oxygenation (yeast hates O2) and a whole food vitamin source that is water soluble and easily absorbed. I am also working with “energy” therapies to see if the root of the problem can be addressed (Nutrienergetics).

Diet plays a critical role if you want to feel well. All of the foods you eat and supplements you take have to be considered carefully to see if they contain yeast, or mushrooms, molds (organic coffee has lots of mold), anything fermented, (black teas are fermented) or allow the yeast to grow (sugar feeds the yeast). If there are food allergies (highly likely) or depression you can probably suspect yeast overgrowth as the culprit. It is difficult to stay on a yeast free diet completely, do the best you can. The Three Lac or Five Lac will help after times of “dietary indiscretion”.

One quick and easy diagnostic is the “Spit Test”. First thing in the morning upon rising, before you eat or brush your teeth, spit a glob of spit into a glass of water. If the spit disperses in the water there is no yeast present but if strings trail down from the glob then there is a fungal/yeast/candida overgrowth.

I hope you achieve your optimum health always.
